Many companies have implemented ERP or transformed their supply chain, but it seems that most of the companies are disappointed by the results.
These are the two main reasons ERP or SCM projects fail.
- The project is focused only on the process/IT side and the consistency with other business elements, such as strategy, rules, organization, and KPI (key performance indicator), is not considered.
- Governance structure to make the project successful is not established.
